411 Technology Systems

Here you will find our list of standard OEM LCD’s. These displays are built to order with 6~10 week lead times and typically not stocked. Each display carries a standard 18 month product warranty.

The character displays have an 8-bit LCD controller (HD44780 or equiv.) built-in to the display. Interfacing to the display simply involves sending an 8-bit command (or 4-bit) and display data. Our Applications Portal (found in the Kits & Stuff web page) includes sample programs and schematics, a troubleshooting guide, and more to help you work with your display.

The graphics displays are all STN types and may or may not have an LCD controller already built-in to the display. The controller type number, if any, is specified in the chart below.

Definitions:
TN: Twisted Nematic
STN: Super Twisted Nematic
RF: Reflective, No backlight
TF: Transflective, with backlight
